Waldringfield Primary School
Waldringfield Primary School was founded in 1874 by the great-grandfather of the village's current vicar; the original school building is now the school hall.
Today, our school motto "We care, we share, we learn together" summarises the following school aims.
We believe that all children should have the opportunity to succeed and that success often happens when it is shared within a caring, family environment.
At Waldringfield you will find children taught as individuals, in groups and as a class. Children's needs vary according to their age, ability and the subjects taught. We endeavour at all times to tailor our teaching to the needs of the child.
Waldringfield Primary School welcomes contact with parents as we feel education is very much a shared responsibility with parents and teachers working together for the benefit of the child.

The Admission to High School
The admissions policy has recently changed - For details about current admissions policy for High Schools in the area, please contact Suffolk Education Authority or the surrounding High Schools directly.
All pupils moving on from year 6, 2011 have been allocated their first choice of High School, the majority being placed at either Kesgrave High School or Farlingaye High School. Traditionally a number of pupils have also attended Waldringfield as a good grounding before moving on one of the Independent Schools in the area. This tradition still continues.
The school last had an Ofsted inspection in January 2018 and the report shows "This school continues to be good. The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the previous inspection."

Recycling - The first collection raised £80 for the school! Collections will take place at regular intervals, so please watch "Waldringfielders" for further information.
Print Cartridges and Batteries can also be recycled through the school now. Please put any such items for recycling in an envelope and pop through the school letter box.
